OPEN REGISTRATION FOR 2008-2009

Congratulations Spirit Academy!

Spirit Academy has just been informed that we are officially accredited through WASC and CITA! We sought dual accreditation and the Lord has blessed us with both!

Spirit Academy has received three years accreditation under WASC after our initial visit. This is the maximum given for a new school seeking accreditation for its first time. Spirit Academy has also received five years accreditation under CITA! First and foremost the credit goes to the Lord! Secondly, I want to thank all those on the accreditation team that made this happen. Great job!

Summer Hours:

June 16th through August 29th

9:00am to 3:00pm

Registration for 2008-2009 is now open!

WELCOME TO SPIRIT ACADEMY!

Spirit Academy is a Christian University-Model School for grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. We are excited and committed to the opportunity given to us in educating and preparing our students to grow spiritually, and to achieve academically.

As a Christian school, it is important for us to have a strong foundation on the Word of God, and to adhere to its teachings. Our desire is for students to live out their faith by applying Biblical principles in their everyday lives. As students continue to grow in their faith, we strongly encourage them to pursue a life of service: serving one another, and those within their community.

Spirit Academy has dual accreditation with WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and CITA (Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation). We are also members of ACSI. Spirit Academy is committed in providing a strong college-prep education to prepare our students to further their academic career. Our courses are designed to challenge our students to think critically, and for them to be able to communicate what they believe and what they have learned in an intelligent manner.

We recognize the importance of partnering with the parents of our students as they are the co-teachers in their child's educational experience. The level of parental involvement progresses from being a co-teacher in the elementary years to a guide for dependent study in junior high to more of a course monitor in the senior high courses. Together, we are able to meet the academic challenges our students face in a Christian environment, where they have the opportunity to grow in their faith.
